It’s important to have an accurate beam measurement in order for the rack safety solutions to fit. Improper fit can put the security of your products and the safety of your employees at risk.
Measuring Your Beams for Rack Safety Solutions
Measure the length of your rack beams from post to post (as seen in the photo below).
Make sure to take note of this measurement in inches and be as accurate as possible. A small difference in size can make a big impact in the ideal fit of your rack safety product.
While most manufacturers produce standard beams, the actual measurement of these beams can vary. For example, one manufacturer’s 8-foot beam may be 8’3” (99 inches) while others may be 8’6” (102 inches).
To ensure the best fit, measure your racks and send us your exact dimensions. With a precise measurement, we can provide the best warehouse safety solution for you.
Note: We design all straps and nets to allow for a 6” overhang to prevent pallet push-through into the longitudinal flue space.
